Alexandra Yacovlef is the CEO and Partner of Little Studio Films. Her brilliant career started from her royal family connections in the UK enabling her to attend some of the finest schools in England, Switzerland and France. Alexandra is fluent in Greek, Russian, English, French and Italian. She has developed over the years high profile international contacts that are today an incredible asset to all LITTLE STUDIO FILMS endeavors.
From 1981 to 1983 she managed investments/venture capital for many prestigious Greek ship-owners. She served on a management committee and formulated transactions, deal structures and joint ventures, negotiated with foreign businesses and performed international transactions with many companies and banks like ABN Bank and WESTMINSTER BANK.
Before that she was the President of “LIAISON.”, a consulting company representing Alexander Papamarkou Investments Internationally. Some of the largest clients were the King of Spain, Paul Getty of TEXACO OIL, the Transportation Ministry of Italy.
Her client list of established relationships and associations include over 300 of the best companies in the Entertainment Industry as well as International businesses such as Media Conglomerates, Networks, Advertising Agencies and Music companies. Her experience in international business, her network of international contacts, her passion for screenplay writing and films were the reason she moved from the oil business to Hollywood, learning how to raise financing for Independent as well as Studio motion picture projects from 1983 until 1987.
In 1987, her own high standards of quality and integrity in business, extensive sales experience, and continued cultivation of relationships and contacts in the entertainment industry along with the vision of herself independently producing films some day, drove her to start AXELIA INTERNATIONAL, a very successful Century City based motion picture acquisition and worldwide sales company. As the President from 1987 – 1994 she negotiated, structured deals, and acquired over 100 American Motion Pictures for the11 International distribution companies she represented here in the United States. To name just a few of the many box office hits she has acquired for her clients: “DIRTY DANCING”, “ROCKY”, “RAMBO”, “TERMINATOR 1”, “TERMINATOR 2”, “PLATOON”,, “BASIC INSTINCT”, “FATAL ATTRACTION”, “BLACK RAIN”, “TRUTH OR DARE” with MADONNA, “BRENDA STARR”, “POWER RANGERS.”
In 1995, prior to being the CEO of Little Studio Films Alexandra formed THE HOLLYWOOD CONNECTION a talent management company. Since then Alexandra has been acquiring literary rights of best selling books as well as unique screenplays that have both commercial and quality appeal.
She has unparalleled talent in international business, marketing, negotiating, pre-selling, selling, acquisitions, and structuring distribution deals. She created Little Studio Films in the year 2000, as part of a long -term success strategy, having acquired, optioned and/or represents several scripts for Motion Pictures and Television. With an in house entity that controls very critical pieces of the filmmaking business she is ensuring success in the production and distribution of studio quality independent films
Her producing endeavors started in 2003 where she executive produced a small feature film “THE DRONE VIRUS”, a spine -chilling thriller starring Billy Wirth, Maeve Quinlan, Adrian Zmed, and Michael Ensign sold by SHORELINE ENTERTAINMENT.
In 2005 she started consulting for producers ensuring for them distribution, financing and attachment of appropriate talent and directors.
In fact she brought Golden Globe winner, Emmy and DGA nominated director Fred Schepisi to the project RECALL TO HONOR for Atlanta based producer Howell Upchurch, assisted Eriq La Salle in his directorial debut for the financing and distribution of his project MAMA’S BOYS, assisted former Illinois Senator Roger Keats to develop and produce his screenplay THE ROAD HOME based on a true story and put together a 5 country European co-production deal for INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURES to be sold by British sales company IN TANDEM directed by acclaimed commercials director Marco Della Fonte.
All these projects are going into production in 2006 and Alexandra is also granted Executive Producer and/or producer credit.
Currently Alexandra is developing several motion pictures she owns the rights of.

Alexia Melocchi is the President and Co-Owner of LITTLE STUDIO FILM, a multi faceted entertainment company representing Directors, Screenwriters, Producers and Distribution Companies from around the world. She has been working in all aspects of the film business for fifteen years.
Born in Italy but raised in the United States, Alexia Melocchi has always had a passion for young Talent and has focused all her efforts to promote local and international writers, directors, producers as well as quality films in the world marketplace.
1985- 1988
Alexia Melocchi, gifted with a fluency in five Languages (Italian, Greek, English, Spanish, French), began her career in the Film Business in the mid 80’s as an Exclusive Representative of 8 Foreign Distributors in Los Angeles. (Brasil, Italy, Greece, Scandinavia, Spain, Germany, France, Argentina) She acquired on their behalf Theatrical, Television, and Home Video Rights of over 100 American movies, while attending the major film Markets such as Cannes, MIFED, American Film Market. During that time she had ongoing transactions with New World Pictures, Inter Ocean (Arnold Kopelson), J&M Entertainment, Carolco (Mario Kassar), ITC Television, RKO Pictures to name a few. Some of the pictures she acquired for her clients were “BRENDA STARR”, “BASIC INSTINCT”, “RAMBO”, “PLATOON”, “HIGHLANDER”, “TRUTH OR DARE”.
1988-1994
In 1988 she became the Vice President of the International Division and Partner of AXELIA INTERNATIONAL PICTURES, based in Century City.
As a distribution sales agent for American films, she sold worldwide and in all media 25 movies. She was also involved in the packaging of several movie projects including the facilitation of Financing via International Distribution Partnerships and Co-Productions, Marketing Campaigns, Producer Relations, Casting, and territorial Sales throughout the year and during the Major Film and Television markets.

1996-1998
In 1998 Alexia Melocchi dissolved the Distribution Company AXELIA INTERNATIONAL to become a free lance PRODUCER and PRODUCER REPRESENTATIVE in charge of Co Production Arrangements, Financing, Casting, and Distribution Consultant for European and US Production Companies. Projects included “THE BIG BLACK OCEAN”(Co- Production with S. Africa), “THE BRONZE AGE” (Co-Production with Cyprus and the UK) and “QUARTET IN FOUR MOVEMENTS” (a Greek-French Co Production). During that time period she opened “THE HOLLYWOOD CONNECTION”, in Athens, Greece, which represented in a Manager role Celebrities in Music, Film, Television and Fashion. Clients worked locally and internationally (United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, United States).
1998-2004
With the goal of facilitating ongoing business ventures between established International Artist and Entertainment Companies and Hollywood, LITTLE STUDIO FILMS came to life.
Alexia Melocchi immediately began representing European producers in the United States. Among her clients were INTRA MOVIES for whom she facilitated the 2000 Golden Globe nomination of the motion picture “I CENTO PASSI” and the Domestic Release of “BUT FOREVER IN MY MIND” , Gabriele Muccino’s directorial debut.
She also represented GRUENBERG FILM (Germany) to aid in the selection of projects for a Hamburg Film Fund, CHEZE PRODUCTIONS (S. Africa), and IVS (Spain) for their overall endeavors in the United States.
As a Producer Representative she negotiated worldwide distribution for the US Production Company JAZZ PICTURES of the motion picture “KISS OF FIRE “ (Miramax Home Video) to SHOWCASE ENTERTAINMENT. She also brought to SHOWCASE ENTERTAINMENT the motion picture “MY ITALIAN HUSBAND” from “Cinema Paradiso” producer Massimo Cristaldi.
As a Literary Manager she set up several screenplays and novels of her client, best selling author Valerio Manfredi, with established American and Independent Production and Financing outfits including “ALEXANDER” and “THE LAST LEGION” to Dino De Laurentis (Universal), and “THE ORACLE” to Eagle Pictures.

Recently Alexia Melocchi placed the screenplay “ENCHANTED FIGURES” by produced and optioned Canadian writer Glen Doyle to HALLMARK CHANNEL as well as arranged for the sale of Sheri Keasler’s screenplay “THE RINGER” (re-titled I WANT TO MARRY RYAN BANKS) which aired on ABC FAMILY in January 2005.
Alexia Melocchi now acts the US liaison office for Canadian Production Company BLEU BLANC ROUGE Productions (“ NUREMBERG” ) and the Italian Production Company SHOOTING STARS.
Some of her most recent production credits are the feature “THE DRONE VIRUS” starring Maeve Quinland and Billy Wirth, the documentary “RED WHITE AND BLUE: A TALE OF TWO AMERICAS” and the Television Pilot Presentation of “CENTRAL BOOKING” starring Michael Bergin, Alfonso Freeman,Al Sapienza and David Ramsey.
In 2006 Alexia Melocchi is attached to executive produce the feature “RECALL TO HONOR” with director Fred Schepisi (“EMPIRE FALLS”), the feature “MAMMA’S BOYS” from director Eriq La Salle (“REBOUND”) and will be producing “THE ROAD HOME” from director Steven R. Monroe (“HOUSE OF 9”) as well as “INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURES” from Italian film maker Marco Della Fonte.
